The role – what is it we would like you to do?
Currie & Brown are looking for Senior Project Manager’s to join our growing infrastructure project and programme management team, in the north of England. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and keen to grow with the business into a future leader, providing a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, working to promote the business and services, capturing, and sharing knowledge across projects, and enhancing our culture of innovation and collaboration.

There will be opportunity for individuals to lead smaller projects or be members of larger teams delivering major UK programmes.
Your core duties will involve.
- Ensuring you and your team work safely, delivering projects in the safest manner.
- Supporting growth of our infrastructure team in the North of England, working from our Manchester office
- Delivering projects on behalf of our clients, leading management of interfaces with the client on behalf of the business
- Proactively marketing Currie & Brown locally and nationally across all sectors, aiding development of new business and clients in line with strategic objectives
- Leading and participating in business management activities such as bid winning, including drafting proposals and attending key industry events.
- Implementing and monitoring relevant administrative systems as well as championing standards for customer care
- Undertaking responsibility for compliance with the company’s health and safety policy and other relevant policies
What skills and attributes are we looking for from you
- Technical qualification(s) in a built environment-related discipline
- Membership of a relevant professional institution (e.g. APM, ICE, CIOB)
- Infrastructure sector experience
- Experience delivering projects in a construction or project management environment
- Capable of working stand alone and as part of an integrated client team
- Competent in managing project programmes, cost plans, risks safely and to a high quality.
- Experienced in identifying and delivering efficiencies and delivery of projects within budget.
- Experience of working on projects through different life cycle stages
- Technical delivery experience and experience in leading professional teams
- Experience and working knowledge of infrastructure processes, procedures and proprietary systems
- Experience in management and delivery of different forms of contract NR/NEC
- Good technical writing, client-facing, and communication skills
- Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, and willing to work in a mutually supportive environment
- Experience working aside numerous stakeholders.
