About The Role

The role – what is it we would like you to do?

Currie & Brown is currently looking for a Business Development Manager based at Delhi, India. This role will be responsible for business development across India by procuring new client and engaging existing client by sharing our services offered.



Your core duties will involve:

  • Familiarizing yourself with all products and services offered by our company.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers.
  • Procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing department.
  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
  • Monitor and submit tenders and RFPs received from government and non-government agencies on a daily basis.
  • Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information per email.
  • Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
  • Assist regional lead in preparation of proposal documents and response to Request from clients,
  • Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales.
  • Collaborating with the marketing department to expand brand presence by creating suitable marketing materials.
  • Researching competitors' offers and pricing as well as market conditions.
  • Attending meetings connect with prospective clients.
  • Reviewing clients' feedback and implementing necessary changes.


What skills and attributes are we looking for from you

  • BSc in quantity surveying or equivalent
  • Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICs)
  • Prior technical delivery experience gained within a global construction consultancy
  • Pre and post-contract experience including procurement
  • Experience in working in a variety of sectors and projects in the Middle East region.
  • Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills (both internal and external)
  • Well-organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined, and commercially astute
  • A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful, and flexible
