Currie & Brown is looking for an Associate (Cost Management) to join our team in Abu Dhabi, working in a post contract role on an exciting leisure / entertainment project. As an Associate you'll be working closely with a key client and leading post-contract cost management services across a portfolio of exciting projects in the UAE.
What will you be doing?
- Providing accurate post contract cost management advice to our clients
- Lead a team and provide continuous development
- Delivering assignments competently and professionally
- Managing resources, cost and time effectively to ensure margins are met
- Providing regular feedback to the director on the commissions under your management.
- Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships
What do you need?
- BSc in quantity surveying or equivalent
- Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) is preferred
- Previous technical delivery experience gained within a global construction consultancy
- Middle East experience is preferred
- Good technical report writing, client-facing and communication skills (both internal and external)
- Experience of a variety of sectors is beneficial, including hospitality, residential, retail, education, infrastructure, commercial and leisure projects
- Experience of managing and leading others within a live project environment
