Role Summary
We are seeking candidates who can support the continued growth and success of our Healthcare Advisory Services team. Successful candidates can expect to be directly involved in
- Supporting the NHS in securing investment for major health infrastructure programmes
- Working in partnership with clients and design teams to develop business cases, masterplans and estate strategies
- Working with NHS teams who are driving innovation and transformation
- Working as part of a team to lead and deliver a diverse range of projects and programmes for NHS and other healthcare clients
Candidates should be able to demonstrate relevant experience, preferably in the healthcare or consultancy sectors.
Specific Requirements
The Senior Consultant role will require an ability to:
- Provide strategic and operational health planning advice to support service optimisation, business cases and capital programmes
- Advise on space planning, spatial configuration, adjacencies and flow and participate in design reviews
- Develop whole hospital policies, departmental service packs and accommodation schedules and benchmark requirements against peer organisations
- Review 1:200 & 1:50 plans to ensure compliance against current guidance
- Input to derogation reports to record non compliance
- Produce high quality written and graphical content for inclusion in documents and presentations that are consistent with our branding guidance, are easy to read and concisely convey relevant information
- Work effectively with clients and within multi-disciplinary teams, building strong relationships and communicating effectively; winning the confidence of the client team to secure repeat business
- Produce and implement project plans and associated documentation as well as manage input from clients and advisors to produce strategic documents such as business cases and estate strategies
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and client meetings and develop and manage effective engagement strategies.
- Drive forwards projects and programmes, taking initiative and problem solving with ambition to grow and develop knowledge and skills within the sector
- Meet deadlines and manage a portfolio of work
- Understand and apply relevant guidance, including publications from HM Treasury, Department of Health & Social Care, NHS England, etc.
- Acquire sector specific knowledge, particularly with regards to the healthcare sector, capital investment and NHS organisations

Location
The team is based in our London office, however we will consider candidates who live outside the London area.
Team members will need to be able to travel within the UK and, on occasion, internationally to work with clients.
