Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Executive to join our Mumbai team. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and nurturing strong client relationships, and contributing to the growth of our construction consultancy services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on driving business development and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify and generate leads through digital platforms, industry networking events, and other business development channels.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients in target sectors (construction, infrastructure, real estate, etc.). Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
- Proposal Development: Work closely with the Proposal/Bid team to prepare customized proposals that align with client requirements and project specifications.
- Collaboration with Marketing: Partner with the marketing team to create compelling campaigns, promotional materials, and content that align with the company’s business objectives.
- Client Meetings: Prepare agendas and materials for client meetings, ensuring all discussions are documented and follow-up actions are clear.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and business development progress within CRM systems.
- Business Development Strategy: Contribute to the overall business development strategy and help identify new markets, trends, and opportunities for growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A graduate degree in any discipline.
- 2 to 7 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the construction, real estate, or consultancy sector.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- A proactive, results-oriented approach with a drive for achieving targets.
