Currie & Brown is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee data center construction projects in Cincinnati, Ohio, ensuring successful delivery on time, within scope, and on budget. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing mission-critical construction projects or other highly technical facilities, with extensive expertise in project controls, cost management, and risk assessment specific to critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities will include:
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for data center construction and expansion projects.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact between clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring alignment on project goals and expectations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on project timelines and budgets.
- Budget and Cost Control: Oversee budget allocation, monitor project expenses, and manage cost reporting and forecasting to ensure financial targets are met.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction activities meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
- Progress Reporting: Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders, providing transparency on milestones, challenges, and key performance indicators.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and security systems.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications & Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of project management experience in the data center or critical infrastructure sectors.
- PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
