Role Summary
We are currently looking for a Project Manager with experience in the defense sector to join our expanding team. This role will support the delivery of secure, technically complex, and strategically important programmes for defence and governmental clients. You will manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring time, cost, quality, and risk parameters are effectively controlled.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning and delivery of defense projects, from initiation through to handover

Act as the key client interface, managing expectations and maintaining strong relationships

Ensure adherence to MOD, DIO, and other defense-related governance and assurance frameworks

Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, including designers, engineers, cost managers, and contractors

Oversee programme management, budgeting, risk management, and change control

Support preparation of business cases, gateway reviews, and project performance reporting

Maintain compliance with security protocols and government standards

Promote collaborative behaviours and integrated project delivery
Requirements

Degree in project management, engineering, construction, or a related field

Minimum 5 years’ experience in project delivery, with a focus on defense or secure infrastructure

Strong understanding of public sector frameworks, government procurement, and project controls

Familiarity with MOD, DIO, JSPs, and/or defense delivery protocols

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
-
SC or DV clearance (or eligibility) preferred

Proficient in MS Project, Primavera, or other project planning tools
