Senior Civil Engineer

Lead the way in sustainable innovation at Currie & Brown!

• Lead the planning, design, and construction of industrial infrastructure (e.g., factories, warehouses, process plants).
• Review and approve civil and structural designs, drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for engineering tasks.
• Collaborate with architects, mechanical/electrical engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Supervise junior engineers and provide technical mentorship.
• Review tender documents and support the procurement process.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies for permits and inspections.
• Perform risk assessments and implement quality control measures.
  
  Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in industrial projects.
• Proficient in civil design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of construction practices and project management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred Experience:
  Industrial facility design (e.g., manufacturing plants, chemical plants, logistics hubs).
• Familiarity with industrial standards (e.g., ASCE, ACI, OSHA).
• Experience with design-build and Project Management Consultant
