About The Role

Currie & Brown is on a bold journey. We’re currently preparing to launch our refreshed global brand to the market, and we’re looking for a marketing and communications leader to make sure it lands with impact across the UK and Europe.

As a world leading provider of cost management, project management and advisory services, we’re trusted by clients to help manage the full lifecycle of their built assets. What sets Currie & Brown apart? It is the depth of our expertise, the strength of our relationships, and a genuinely collaborative way of working, all focused on providing the certainty our clients need most.

We’re now entering an exciting new chapter, and this role offers a unique opportunity to shape how the market sees Currie & Brown.

The opportunity

We’re hiring an Associate Director of Marketing & Communications for the UK & European region. A dynamic, strategic role that will lead the development and delivery of a best-in-class marketing strategy that supports business growth, drives visibility, and leverages our brand to its fullest potential.

You’ll be a core member of the UK & European leadership team, and a key partner to our global marketing function.  You will translate strategic business goals into regionally relevant, commercially effective marketing activity.

The role:

Lead the UK & European marketing strategy

  • Build and execute a marketing strategy that supports commercial growth, brand awareness, and client engagement across all regional business areas.
  • Lead the brand and ensure our new brand is powerfully and consistently expressed across every client touchpoint.
  • Translate business objectives into locally meaningful campaigns that reflect the nuances, maturity levels, and priorities of different UK & European markets.

Bring our new brand to life

  • Embed the refreshed Currie & Brown brand across the region.
  • Lead the next critical phase of our brand journey: raising mass awareness and significantly elevating Currie & Brown’s market position.
  • Ensure consistency, clarity, and creativity in how the brand is applied across digital, print, client engagement, and internal platforms.
  • Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to align brand and business goals.

Execute and elevate go-to-market campaigns

  • Own the full campaign lifecycle; planning, budgeting, executing, and evaluating multi-channel integrated campaigns.
  • Leverage insight, data, and competitor intelligence to refine messaging, channels, and tactics.
  • Identify new opportunities to elevate Currie & Brown’s voice in the market and unlock growth.

Communications and stakeholder engagement

  • Raise the profile of Currie & Brown across key audiences including clients, partners, our people, industry bodies, and media.
  • Develop integrated, multi-channel communications strategies that span attraction, conversion, and retention.
  • Work with the Group Marketing team to embed our global strategy at a regional level.

Team, agency & budget leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of two Marketing Managers and a Marketing Assistant.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to deliver on time, on brand, and on budget.
  • Oversee the regional marketing budget and report on ROI, performance, and pipeline contribution.

What you'll bring

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic marketing & communications roles.
  • A proven track record of delivering complex, integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable results.
  • Experience with brand development or rollouts, including messaging strategy and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed, international environment and balance global strategy with local needs.
  • A strategic thinker with hands-on capability - you’re just as comfortable in the details as you are setting direction.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills - with peers, senior leaders, and agency partners alike.
  • Relevant experience of working in the construction or built asset environment would be beneficial
  • Strong digital marketing skills and familiarity with tools such as CMS platforms, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint.
