Construction Manager - Sicily

Currie & Brown Italy is looking for a Freelance Construction Manager for hospitality sector projects in Sicily. The offer includes a collaboration contract on a VAT basis. Regular on-site presence is required.

 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, project management or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing medium-scale projects (experience in the hospitality sector is a plus).
• Experience managing the permitting process and dealing with local jurisdiction.
• Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills (both internal and external)
• A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful, and flexible.
• In addition to Italian, good written and spoken English required. 

• Check work progress status (SAL) on time and on budget.
• Evaluate site construction drawings.
• Conduct meetings with contractors and client.
• Manage procurement activities.
• Snagging activities.
• Day-to-day management and coordination of site activities.

  Currie & Brown Italia è attualmente alla ricerca di un Construction Manager per progetti nel settore hospitality in Sicilia. La collaborazione è prevista con contratto a partita IVA. È richiesta la presenza regolare in cantiere.

  Requisiti:

• Laurea in architettura, ingegneria, project management o equivalente costituiscono una via preferenziale.
• Esperienza di almeno 5 anni nella gestione di progetti di medio volume (via preferenziale l’esperienza nel settore hospitality).
• Esperienza nella gestione del processo di autorizzazione e nei rapporti con la giurisdizione locale.
• Buone capacità di scrittura tecnica, di relazione con il cliente e di comunicazione (sia interna che esterna).
• Attitudine al lavoro in team, affidabilità e flessibilità.
• Oltre all’italiano, è richiesto un buon livello di inglese scritto e parlato.

• Verifica stato avanzamento lavori (SAL) nel rispetto di tempi e budget.
• Valutare elaborati grafici di cantiere.
• Condurre riunioni con contractors, maestranze, cliente.
• Gestire attività di procurement.
• Attività di snagging.
• Gestione e coordinamento giornaliero delle attività di cantiere.
