The role – what is it we would like you to do?
Currie & Brown is looking for a Scheduler for our client location in San Francisco. The successful candidate will support project leaders by providing construction expertise of our core services, including estimation, procurement, cost planning and more. These functions should be performed while generating a high standard of service, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing, and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation, and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.

Your core duties will involve:
- Developing, tracking and analyzing schedules using Primavera P6 platform from the design stage through to operational readiness including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, validation and qualification
- Developing and tracking critical path, forecast completion dates, areas of risk and opportunity, status of key milestones
- Understanding and following schedule management best practices
- Communicating seamlessly with key stakeholders such as client representatives, design consultants, contractors, sub-consultants and other appointed team vendors
- Preparing progress reports and communicating any project issues that could impact the schedule
- Supporting risk analyses
- Assisting the project manager and project control lead with evaluation of reported progress and status of critical activities
- Working closely with project teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the schedules produced to advise project management on issues requiring judgment
- Developing and recording the project's historical schedule information and lessons learned for future use
- Partnering with team members to create dashboards using tableau, PowerBI or other similar software
What skills and attributes are we looking for from you
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in scheduling
- Experience working on large complex pharmaceutical, manufacturing or industrial projects preferred
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience working with Primavera P6
- Experience with Commissioning, Qualification & Validation
- Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills
- Well-organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute
- A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible
