We hold the conviction that the essence of good HR practice is reflected not just in what we do, but how we do it.
Does that resonate with you and are you an HR professional with a passion for all things HR? Do you excel in leading and supporting others, working in teams, providing considered advice, and turning ideas into reality? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
At Currie & Brown, where our global headcount is c.2800, we're seeking a collaborative People Manager, based in London, to support our UK and European business to help shape our continued success. Reporting to the People Director, you will manage two advisors and help to enhance our operational excellence and the strategic HR impact of the service. Alongside the wider people team, you will also work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and could have the opportunity to travel to any of our UK and European offices.
As a People Manager offering and providing a broad range of generalist HR, case work, employment law and operational HR expertise, you must also demonstrate that you embody Currie & Brown’s values of being professional, collaborative, and honest. Alongside this, you should be capable of handling both extraordinary and the everyday HR, providing comprehensive advice to the business with an evidenced track record of achievement and personal impact in a HR setting.
You would be regarded as a trusted partner and will skilfully forge and uphold relationships with stakeholders, while being accessible, supportive and a good ‘friend’ to the business. The People Manager will act as a role model in terms of our values and behaviours, with a strong focus on exemplar service delivery and customer focused solutions.
The role sits within a friendly and supportive team, so there will be the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of HR and take lead on exciting and innovative people initiatives. So, whether the focus is on enhancing employee experiences or strengthening our HR strategic capabilities, this is an exciting opportunity for someone to get involved with managing and shaping the service As a HR practitioner, you will know that no two days are the same, so the post holder can enjoy making the role their own whilst being fully supported.
The company embraces diversity and welcomes applications from individuals who share our commitment to HR excellence. While we recognise that the ideal candidate may not always meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply if you’re passionate about contributing to our team.
