Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – BIM to manage and oversee the BIM design development process for a variety of construction projects. This role involves leading clash resolution workshops, integrating 4D scheduling with BIM, and developing as-built models for accurate facility management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BIM coordination and construction management.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Development Phase:
- Clash Resolution Workshops:
- Task: Conduct weekly sessions with multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve clashes in coordinated BIM models.
- Deliverable: Updated BIM model free of conflicts.
- Example: Use Navisworks to resolve clashes between plumbing risers and electrical conduits.
Pre-Construction Phase:
- 4D Scheduling:
- Task: Link the BIM model to the project schedule for 4D simulation.
- Deliverable: Animated construction sequences for better project visualization.
- Example: Visualize the sequencing of foundation, columns, and slabs to detect potential scheduling conflicts.
Construction Phase:
- As-Built BIM Model Development:
- Task: Continuously update the BIM model to reflect real-time changes on-site.
- Deliverable: As-built BIM models integrated into O&M (Operations & Maintenance) systems.
- Example: Incorporate actual HVAC routing into the BIM model for facility management use.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in BIM project management or related roles.
- Proficient in BIM software such as Navisworks, Revit, and other coordination tools.
- Strong experience in clash detection, 4D scheduling, and as-built model development.
- Excellent communication skills to lead teams and collaborate across disciplines.
- Location: Candidates must be based in Thane or willing to relocate locally.
