About The Role

Role Overview:
The Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire contract lifecycle across all phases of construction projects.

         Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.

  • Administer construction contracts using standard forms such as FIDIC, JCT, NEC, etc.

  • Provide contractual advice and support to project and site teams.

  • Monitor budgets, manage claims, variations, extensions of time, and change orders.

  • Lead or support dispute resolution, claims handling, or litigation with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, legal requirements, and company policies.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and correspondence related to contracts.

  • Assist with procurement and tendering processes from a contractual perspective.

  • Collaborate closely with commercial, legal, project management, and procurement teams.


    Qualifications & Skills Required:
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or a related field.

  • 7–10 years of experience in contract administration or commercial management within the construction industry.

  • Strong knowledge and familiarity with standard contract forms (e.g., FIDIC, JCT, NEC).

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to assess project risk and prepare claims.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management software.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and capacity to work independently under pressure.
