Group Management Accountant based in Leeds
Build certainty through better financial insight
Join Currie & Brown as a Group Management Accountant and help deliver accurate, timely and meaningful reporting across our international business. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will lead the monthly management reporting cycle, support budgeting and forecasting, and turn financial information into insight that informs strategic decisions.
Working with finance teams across the UK, Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, India and Asia Pacific, you will strengthen consistency, improve systems and processes, and help shape the future of Group Finance.
The opportunity
This is a high-impact role for a commercially minded finance professional who wants broader international exposure, visible stakeholder engagement and the opportunity to improve how a global organisation reports and plans.
What you will do
At the heart of the role is ownership of the Group reporting cycle. You will bring together information from across our international business, translate it into a clear financial story and give senior stakeholders the confidence to make informed decisions.
- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly Group management accounts through OneStream.
- Partner with regional finance teams to strengthen the quality, consistency and timeliness of reporting.
- Lead quarterly forecasting and coordinate the annual Group budget and Board reporting packs.
- Support central treasury activity, including banking relationships, bonds, guarantees and online platforms.
- Champion improvements in OneStream, automation, financial controls and reporting processes.
You will also build trusted relationships across Group Finance and contribute to regular reporting, ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives. It is a varied remit that combines dependable delivery with the freedom to challenge how things are done and introduce smarter ways of working.
What you will bring
You will be a commercially minded finance professional who combines technical credibility with curiosity and sound judgement. Comfortable working across borders and functions, you can move confidently between detailed analysis and clear conversations with stakeholders.
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or approaching the final stages of qualification.
- Relevant management accounting, Group reporting or financial reporting experience in a complex organisation.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, supported by advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with reporting and consolidation systems; exposure to OneStream would be an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills, with a collaborative and hands-on approach.
You will notice the details others miss, while keeping sight of the bigger commercial picture. Just as importantly, you will be willing to ask thoughtful questions, influence constructively and help colleagues improve systems, processes and controls. If you meet most, but not every, requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
