Role Summary

Currie & Brown is currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of data center projects across the region. The successful candidate will lead client engagements and project delivery, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the client’s key point of contact and trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Lead the planning, procurement, and delivery of data center construction and fit-out projects.

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including design consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders.

  • Manage project schedules, cost plans, and risk registers to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Oversee contract administration, tender processes, and change management.

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including safety standards.

  • Facilitate project reporting, governance meetings, and stakeholder updates.

  • Monitor site progress and manage quality assurance in alignment with client expectations.

  • Provide leadership and direction to assistant project managers and project coordinators.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

  • Minimum 6–10 years of project management experience in construction, with at least 3 years in data center or mission-critical projects.

  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of procurement routes and contract administration (e.g., FIDIC, JCT, NEC).

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Strong leadership and team coordination capabilities.

  • Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or Asta Powerproject.

  • Experience working in a consultancy or client-side project management environment preferred.


Desirable

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), RICS, or equivalent certification.

  • Experience delivering projects for international technology or hyperscale clients.

  • Familiarity with sustainable building practices and green certifications (e.g., LEED, Green Mark).
