About The Role

Overview:
Currie & Brown is seeking a Senior MEP Manager to join our expanding team to support the design, delivery, and coordination of MEP systems on high-profile projects including data centres, commercial developments, healthcare, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading the design, planning, and implementation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within a construction project, ensuring compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and project specifications, while managing a team of engineers and overseeing all aspects of the MEP design process from conception to completion, including coordination with other disciplines and stakeholders on site installations, testing, and commissioning
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and propose solutions to maintain project schedule
Check the work period and sign the installment bill to the contractor according to the contract.
Supervise the project work and expedite construction work to meet the deadline for transferring the contract including controlling the work of the contract to be effective.
Supervise and mentor junior MEP engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities within the MEP team
Review contractor drawings and installation methods to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Conduct site inspections to monitor the quality of MEP installations and identify any discrepancies.
Resolve technical issues during construction and coordinate necessary design modification
Attend meeting required.

Requirements:

Mechanical or Electrical University degree in Engineering
Working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications, and schematics associated with trade
10 years of construction experience with working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing
Excellent in budgeting and financial control.
Knowledgeable in installation and service process, able to advise managers and teams to understand each project's requirements and adapt to changes.
Handle client’s requirement, specifications, changes, abjections, and see through finishing each project with high quality work and client acceptance
Process team management experience.
