Finance Manager

Currie & Brown is looking for a finance manager for our Thailand business, based in our Bangkok office. Reporting to the Asia Pacific Finance Director and supporting the Country Lead, key responsibilities will include: 

• • Lead preparation, development, and continuous updating of financial plans for all projects. 
  •  Deliver full P&L ownership, including monthly performance reporting, detailed variance analysis, and regular management review sessions with senior leadership. 
  •  Responsible for GL, AR, AP as well as handling full set of accounts, month-end and year-end closing 
  •  Planning and managing cash position, cashflow projection and ensuring optimal working capital
  •  Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  •  Provide strategic insights to support decision-making and drive business performance.
  •  Ensure proper revenue recognition compliant with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 15)
  •  Ensure proper storage and organization of project contracts and supporting documentation
  •  Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting within company policies and relevant financial regulations. 
  •  Handle the annual audits and tax filings
  •  Undertaking other supporting ad-hoc duties 

Requirements: 

• • CPA qualified or relevant
  •  Minimum of 5 years'  experience
  •  Knowledge of IFRS 15 accounting principles and procedures
  •  Proven accounting experience in long-term contract revenue recognition
  •  Good business acumen
  •  Strong accounting, analytical and problem-solving skills
  •  Fluency in verbal and written English and Thai
