  • About the role

    We are looking for an Associate Director to grow our Project Assurance offering within Infrastructure. Working closely with your line manager, you will shape high-quality service delivery, strengthen client relationships and help deliver sustainable performance across quality, customer satisfaction, profitability and cashflow. You’ll be based in our London office, working in a supportive and collaborative environment with the autonomy to manage your own projects and clear opportunities for career development.

    Key responsibilities

    • Lead and deliver project assurance commissions with strong technical proficiency across programme and project management.
    • Manage and mentor project managers and other junior members of staff.
    • Lead bid and proposal activities, supporting the growth of our service offer.
    • Proactively market Currie & Brown locally, developing new business and clients in line with strategic objectives.
    • Implement and monitor relevant administration systems and internal standards, including quality assurance and customer care.
    • Take responsibility for compliance with the company’s Health & Safety policy and other applicable corporate policies.
    • Champion and adhere to our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitments.

    About you

    You bring strong technical delivery experience and a track record of leading assurance activity in complex infrastructure environments.

    • Strong project and/or programme delivery experience in an infrastructure environment.
    • Previous experience undertaking scrutiny/assurance of projects and programmes is essential.
    • Previous experience as a lead reviewer is advantageous.

    Technical competencies

    • In depth knowledge of project assurance and project management
    • Knowledge of programme and portfolio management, project controls including risk management, quality management and scheduling.
    • Knowledge of governance arrangements
    • Familiar with NEC3/4 in all its forms and other standard forms of contract.
    • Excellent written and spoken English and presentation skills
    • Understanding of relevant software packages e.g. Primavera P6.
