  • About The Role

  • The role – what is it we would like you to do?

    Currie & Brown is seeking an Associate Director, M&E Cost Management to join our Dublin office. This leadership role will drive the successful delivery of complex public and private sector projects, build trusted client relationships, provide commercial leadership, and support the continued growth of our M&E cost management offering. The successful candidate will champion best practice, mentor team members, and contribute to the firm's reputation for excellence and innovation.

    Your core responsibilities will include:

    • Leading the delivery of M&E cost management services across a portfolio of projects and clients.
    • Providing strategic cost advice, commercial leadership, and accurate reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Managing key client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor on commercial matters.
    • Leading project teams, setting priorities, and mentoring junior colleagues to support their development.
    • Ensuring effective financial control, risk management, and project governance.
    • Overseeing the preparation of Bills of Quantities, cost plans, budgeting, tender analysis, bid levelling, and post-contract services.
    • Supporting business development activities, identifying opportunities, and contributing to winning new work.
    • Representing Currie & Brown professionally and strengthening relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.

    What skills and attributes are we looking for?

    • BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
    • Chartered member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) or equivalent professional body.
    • Strong experience delivering M&E cost management services within the Irish public sector.
    • Detailed knowledge of public procurement processes and PW-CF1 and PW-CF5 contracts.
    • Proven experience in cost control, contract administration, and claims management.
    • Strong leadership, client engagement, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Commercially astute, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
    • A collaborative approach with experience developing and mentoring team members.
    • CostX experience preferred.
    • Full driving licence.
