Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Sector Leader to drive growth in the Semiconductor and Hi-Tech market. This role combines strategic business development, client relationship management, and high-profile project leadership. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in positioning the company as a partner of choice for the world’s leading technology and semiconductor clients, while also overseeing successful delivery of complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Sector Leadership

Define and execute the business strategy for the Semiconductor & Hi-Tech sector.

Lead business development initiatives, identify opportunities, and secure new clients and repeat business.

Build and nurture executive-level relationships with semiconductor, electronics, and advanced manufacturing clients.

Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and networking events to enhance sector visibility.

Work with internal leadership to develop service offerings, frameworks, and best practices tailored to hi-tech clients.
Project & Delivery Leadership

Provide executive oversight on major semiconductor / hi-tech projects (e.g., fabs, cleanrooms, data centers, advanced manufacturing).

Support project teams in delivering on time, on budget, and to the highest quality & safety standards.

Guide project directors/managers on client expectations, governance, and risk management.

Ensure consistency in delivery standards across multiple projects and geographies.
Team Leadership

Build and mentor a specialist hi-tech delivery team (project management, cost management, technical experts).

Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and client service.

Collaborate with other sector leads to cross-sell services and leverage global expertise.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.

15–20 years of experience in construction consultancy or contracting, with a focus on semiconductor fabs, data centers, or advanced manufacturing facilities.

Proven track record of winning business and growing client accounts in the hi-tech sector.

Strong network with semiconductor manufacturers, technology firms, and industrial developers.

Experience leading large, multi-billion-dollar projects in complex, fast-track environments.

Excellent commercial, contractual, and negotiation skills.

Recognized professional membership (PMP, MRICS, PE, or equivalent) desirable.
