  • The Role

    The People Manager will oversee the full employee lifecycle and partner closely with business leaders to develop and implement people strategies that support organisational growth. This role is responsible for payroll, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, HR compliance, and workforce planning.

    The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to leaders, ensuring HR best practices while maintaining compliance with Thai employment legislation.

     

     

    Key Responsibilities

    HR Business Partnering

    • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement people strategies aligned with business objectives
    • Provide expert advice on employee matters and organisational development
    • .upport managers in driving employee engagement and performance

    Payroll & HR Operations

    • Manage end-to-end payroll processes and ensure timely and accurate payroll execution
    • Maintain payroll records and employee data within HRIS and payroll systems
    • Coordinate with payroll providers and finance teams to ensure statutory compliance
    • Ensure compliance with tax, social security, provident fund, and other statutory requirements
    • Continuously improve payroll processes and HR operational efficiency

    Talent Acquisition & Resource Planning

    • Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning and resource forecasting
    • Develop recruitment strategies to support business growth
    • Manage onboarding and induction programmes for new employees

    Employee Relations & Performance Management

    • Provide guidance on employee relations matters and workplace investigations
    • Support managers in performance management, coaching, and development initiatives
    • Facilitate performance review cycles and succession planning
    • Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture

    Compensation, Benefits & Policy Administration

    • Manage compensation and benefits programmes to ensure market competitiveness
    • Conduct salary benchmarking and support annual salary review processes
    • Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures
    • Ensure HR policies remain aligned with local legislation and company standards

    Legal Compliance & Risk Management

    • Ensure compliance with Thai labour laws and employment regulations
    • Manage employment contracts, disciplinary matters, grievances, and terminations
    • Identify HR risks and implement mitigation strategies
    • Support internal and external audits relating to HR processes and documentation

    Learning & Development

    • Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives
    • Support leadership development and career progression programmes
    • Promote continuous learning across the organisation

    Reporting & HR Analytics

    • Produce HR metrics and reports covering recruitment, turnover, headcount, payroll, and employee engagement
    • Analyse workforce trends and recommend improvements to senior management

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
    • Must have solid payroll experience utilizing payroll systems, with a strong understanding of payroll processes and statutory compliance.
    • Proven experience in:

    Talent acquisition and workforce planning.

    Employee relations and performance management.

    Compensation, benefits, and HR policy administration.

    HR compliance and employment legislation

    • Strong knowledge of Thai Labour Law and employment regulations.
    • Experience supporting professional services, engineering, construction, consulting, or project-based organisations is highly desirable.
    • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong problem-solving, organisational, and leadership capabilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems
