Cost Consultant - Dublin (Ref: 22228)
Role Overview
Currie & Brown is looking for a Cost Consultant to join our team. You'll get direct client exposure, hands-on learning, and real variety in your work. Expect to move across estimating, benchmarking, OFCI procurement and post-contract tasks. If you're an ambitious QS after rapid progression, this is a strong fit.
What you will be doing
- Giving clients clear, accurate cost advice and reports
- Delivering projects, commissions and professional assignments
- Setting objectives and priorities as a proactive team player
- Managing project costs with limited supervision
- Keeping communication flowing so projects finish smoothly
- Supporting your service leaders on cost management
- Building strong client relationships through negotiation and clear correspondence
What will make you successful in this role?
- Private commercial sector experience, across areas such as data centers, pharma, offices, residential, fit-out or refurb
- MRICS membership
- Sustainability and data skills, such as carbon assessment and Power BI
- Contract administration, with both pre- and post-contract experience
- Clear technical writing and communication skills
- Expert Excel skills confident with CostX or similar cost planning software
